i think a lot of parents are afraid of seeming uncool and too old and tey. That's why i am very much against the idea of parents being friends with their kids. I you should not be a hard ass a whom your your child will hate for the rest lives. A dheyl have plenty of friends. They don't need you as a friend. And also, to be honest, he seemed disinterested.
