He lied about his age and provided an additional diploma from Arizona State University that showed he had a doctor in psychology, what she would later admit it was a fraud. The state ordered Malachi Love Robinson to cease and desist from practicing medicine and issued a citation of $1253 for the three months he worked at the rehab facility.
