The History of Tapprobana
There is no such island as Tapprobana, which led to a couple thousand years of confusion. The evidence suggests that Anais Plocamis was a real person and left behind some graffiti along the spice route around the time in question. By the late 14th century, the Mapamundi and the Skiapade seem to have gone out of style, and their homeland of TapproBana was mostly replaced with Sri Lanka.
