How to Use GitHub on the Web to Edit Markdown Files

GitHub on the web is easier to use and like the UI makes more sense to me. I kind of dislike the GitHub desktop experience. The custom back end that we have is Caliope that Alex has built, which is what we use for the club and eventually we'll use for the main website too. And it's not got the same bells and whistles as WordPress, but it's got exactly what we need, which I like a lot.
