Other islands in the area that are owned by various countries as research islands may not have those same stipulations. So for instance, if you're like a queen maud islands, yes. But what about the islands off of that? Do they also qualify? And these are things that are answered in the treaties, but the answers make differ at certain points in time or in in territorial reckoning.
