The Book of Mormon - A Strange Occurrence

Joseph Smith was no longer welcome on the Whitmer farm after one of Emma's cousins Levi Lewis filed an affidavit that said quote that he saw Joseph Smith intoxicated three different times while composing the book of Mormon end quote. It seems like the Whitmer's were a bit more accepting of Joseph Smith's authorship methods than the Isaac Hale was. After some pushing Sally eventually was told what was going on in the translating room and that convinced her to eventually join the church when she was older.
