When Singapore separated from Malaysia in 1965, Singapore was an impoverished nation - struggling economy, social unrest and an unskilled workforce. Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore’s first Prime Minister, took radical steps, drawing inspiration from old Confucianist ideas, to create a world-class governance system. Singapore transitioned from third world to first within one generation. Listen along as we cover the story of, as Charlie Munger called, ‘History’s greatest nation builder’.
