The Federalist Society has become incredibly powerful into which President Trump essentially assigned the job of identifying judges and justices. Once you do that, you got 50 votes in the Senate. You don't have to look for someone who's moderate.You no longer have to get over a filibuster to confirm a Supreme Court justice.
