Rock Mononoff's Concerto
Rock Mononoff wrote this concerto in 1909, long before a sound film. The orchestration itself is a product of following Rimsky-Korsakov's directions for orchestration to a T. This creates a lushness of sound that film composers like Bernard Hermon and John Williams later made a huge part of their music.
