I think that talking about divine thoughts is misleading, because it makes me think of god as like this big, disembodied mind, right? Like a cartesian res cogitans happens to ino sit at the bottom of the ontological ladder, and everything else is baseli. I don't think that's what god is. So i would not talk about god's thoughts. But perhaps we can say that god intended always to incarnate, by somehow placing this property in the world rit all the events of the world led up to the moment of christ's incarnation,.
