Is There a Focus on the Messiah in the Book of Benjamin?

Coming from my own Jewish background I didn't really find Benjamin's plight to be Jewish like I like this. You know there's definitely not a focus on the Messiah as a person that to be worshipped. But again you know I like the idea you don't see it very often in I think contemporary fiction is this religion and science kind of together in the same story.
