How Did Subochromial Corticosteric Injections Affect Shoulder Pain?
Shoulder impingement became instantiated in everyday clinical parlance all over the world. This has led to this biomechanical factors, structural factors, et cetera, occupying this privileged position in the possible causation and then resolution of our non-traumatic shoulder pain. So as I suggested a moment ago, we became really obsessed with the chromial shape. We had people sort of laying on foam rollers for hours a day to try and reverse their thoracic cibosis. And then we've got the surgical techniques that were invented where there was this huge exponential increase in subochromial decompression or a chromioplasty procedures 20 or so years ago.
