The culture around charity is not optimized for attracting the greatest talent. We have a double standard here, which many people are aware of. I think it's most clearly brought out by dan palata. But it's a choice where you can spend less than five per cent on overhead and raise ten million dollars or you could spend thirty per cent on overhead to raise four hundred million dollars. Which should you do? The latter if you're goingto use those resources well.
