The Collapse of the Economy
In one scenario, our resources depleted so rapidly that it screwed up our economy. Our population grew so rapidly that we ran out of food able to feed everyone. And this all happened within in the chart, it looks like probably about ten years or so. In a second scenario, they said, all right, let's assume that in the coming decades they're going to be able to find more resources. This results in three things happening almost simultaneously: pollution explodes and goes through the roof. Arable land and food p ction runs out. And get this, we still run out of resources even though they doubled.
