The Force of Gravity on the Moon
This is a common myth that there's no gravity on the Moon. In fact if you go onto the Moon, the acceleration due to the force of gravity will be about 1-6th as strong as it is on the surface of the Earth. The tides just refer obviously to the changing height of the water,. particularly the ocean at different times of the day and of the month and so on.
