Inflation Reduction Act
I'm a little bit confused as to how this is supposed to bring inflation under control. Because my understanding, and I don't claim to be an economics wiz kid by any means, is that if you pump money into the economy, then you contribute to inflation rather than diminish it. So on top of the general rising protectionism, you've got this extra pressure on inflation. It's all pushing towards stagflation, which is really the worst of both worlds from the point of view of the bourgeois. And that could actually make the crisis even worse again.
