Cognitive Insights and AI Limitations

This chapter explores the cognitive distinctions between humans and animals, particularly focusing on human foresight and long-term planning capabilities. It contrasts these traits with current AI technologies, noting the challenges in achieving artificial general intelligence (AGI) due to AI's lack of true agency and context awareness. Additionally, the chapter addresses the phenomenon of hallucination in language models and discusses methods, such as retrieval augmented generation, to minimize inaccuracies in AI outputs.
