Bonds Are a Great Investment, Right?
We're in a new paratime right now. Interest rates hit a base of slightly under one % on the us. Tenure. I don't believe they're going to go negative. There's people that think they are. But let's even think about what that means. If a bond has a negative yield, it's no longer an asset, a liability. You give someone your money and you get less money back. Well, that's what negative yielding bonds are. So anyone who's hoping that that happens, i think they're pushing on a string.
