The Order of the Gospel of Life
You must be first born again in order to believe in jesus, says piper. In other words, i would say he's giving a rebuke, that you stop seeking glory for man and start seeking glory from god. This is paralleled in john 20 31 that we've talked about thousands upon thousands of times on our programme. By believing, how does a dead man come to life? You may have life in his name. So what do we need? We need the gospel of life inorder to believe it so that we may have life his name.
