The Different Structures of Barry's Films
Barry feels, and you know, I hate to use the phrase like a tone poem sit on. Like sometimes it just, it's not like there's a typical structure to a lot of TV shows. And this doesn't feel, it sometimes it's like, Hey, oh, this is a cool thing. But then coming back to the Malek comparison where, where something like tree of life, you might have this very free flowing, you know, camera looking up at the characters. In Malek's work, there is this existentialism, but in the sense of like it captures existence in a very beautiful way.
