Joe Dominguez and Vicki Rubin's Your Money or Your Life is probably the most influential book about extreme saving as a method of gaining financial independence. Extreme saving is one of the different routes that you can take towards quitting the rat race. And this book is all about how you go about doing it, and particularly how you do it on normal income levels.
