The Complexity of Legal Cases

Rapper Rick Astley filed a lawsuit against black box for using his voice in their song. Black box used the vocals of someone named Milletta Holloway and they got a legal challenge from Holloway's lawyers because they didn't credit her vocal. The best way to put it is air on the side of caution all the legal precedents aside which are still being made you can argue if you publish music that takes somebody else's work samples it without permission you could theoretically face a legal challenge no matter how short the sample is.
