Rajamouli's Paranoia in Paradise
The director is a master at maintaining the seriousness of the plot, but also adding comedy to it. Raja Mouli doesn't let his actors sleep walk through anything. He's going to use them to like the 100%. Like the story you tell us, Tamayah about the laser pointer in R.R. shows that he is thinking about how much to push the actors. And I think especially the performers by not having to do these undercutting jokes or using bathos.
