The FTC Injunction in Microsoft's Vertical Merger

Jordan Lerman: I think Microsoft has at least said that they won't interfere with like unionization efforts. He says the FTC will just keep fighting and pushing Microsoft, but it is much harder to deal with the situation once the acquisition is completed. "The court finds the FTC has not shown a likelihood it will prevail on its claim that this particular vertical merger in this specific industry may substantially lessen competition," writes Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley.
