How to Deal With the Reality of a Measurement Tape

It's hard to know what to get rid of because the thing that is hard to maintain it or just like the things I'm placing down everywhere that I'm using. Where would I look for this first if this surface here was clear right so like let's say it's a measuring tape on my kitchen counter all right and it's just there's just random things okay.
