The Importance of Having a Mentor

I had no guidance. I didn't really know any other women. Any woman that was doing it was probably so ahead of me. So you're cobbling together this education as you go. Just kind of building and building. You have to because nobody's going to do that work for you. And even the momentum of creating something doesn't necessarily propel you into something else. But at the end of the day, I'm an artist. So I love to create just for the sake of creating that ours"
