The Importance of Delving Deeper Into Childhood History

Schema therapy is an approach that really does go much more deeply into the patient's histories than a lot of the approaches that W and I were trained in graduate school. And what's so cool about schema therapy is that there's some wonderful and very tangible strategies that you can use in the therapy room to kind of get at those early experiences. So I think I'm hoping that this will be a really educational episode for a lot of our clinicians who are listeners.
