Arsenal were prepared to pay a club record fee for this player. And they didn't get him. So I think Chelsea swooping in maybe was preferential in some ways to them. Arsenal will prepare to pay it when it got to the very death. But if you had told me that in December that Shakhtar would end up getting their hundred million euros, I would not have believed you. The way in which the media, I think, was used to amplify the profile and the price tag is a very 21st century transfer.
