The First US Africa Summit Since the Obama Administration

The first major US Africa summit since the Obama administration produced some concrete results. There were 15 billion dollars worth of agreements, commercial deals made that were signed while they were here involving 47 different countries. Cisco Systems for partnering with Africa, the Hasbro and small business for 800 million dollars in new contracts to protect African countries from cyber threats. The conference yielded a quite enthusiastic endorsement of the African continental free trade agreement.
