This is your third lecture series. Is this only for health practitioners or can the general public also attend? We love everybody who's interested to join us really it's created for medical professionals. The interesting thing that I found is that real good scientists don't do complicated lectures. It's like with very, very famous actors. They don't have to show up. So there are no regulations like this in Germany or or any other country I know so I like this system.
Today, I am blessed to have here with me Josephine Barbarino. She is the founder and CEO of the Keto Live Project, a project with a mission to spread legitimate information and data about Ketogenic Metabolic Therapies as a powerful medical tool for the prevention and treatment of different diseases.
Josephine is a successful architect, traveling around building various infrastructures. But suddenly, her world turned upside down as she noticed the numerous medication she took. This is the start where Josephine fears death, so she reaches out to google to find answers. Luckily, she found her answer from a famous diet doctor, and the solution she found was a ketogenic diet.
Since then, Josephine was able to put her type two diabetes into remission within three months. Within half a year, all her numerous medications were gone. With her dream to open a teaching center for medical professionals, she started the European Keto Live Center to help medical professionals and patients know this healing method.

- If you want to fight cancer or things like this, it's good to start the process by fasting.
- With type two diabetes, fasting is not necessary. You can take it slowly.
- Our body is a wonderful factory because it always tries to back up your mistakes.
- Seeing our body's fantastic mechanism will make you humble and start thinking about what you eat.
- We are designed to heal, and it's just a matter of identifying the interference and removing it one by one.

- If people are on medication, they shouldn't try it alone. They should convince their doctor that they want to do it.
- If your doctor refuses, find another one that could help you.

- In 2021, they started a new project called the metabolic health pilot connecting the sciences.
- Josephine’s dream was to open a teaching center for medical professionals, and she was supported by the best scientist and practicing physicians in the world.
- The organization is called European Keto Life Center, but it is now an International Association for ketogenic metabolic therapies, reaching places like Africa, Mexico, and Australia.
[44:26] We Don’t Need More Studies. We Need Better and Long-Term Studies
- More studies are not needed, but better and long-term studies are required. Thus, the idea to build a center not only for education but also for inpatients was born.
- This is a center where medical students, postgraduate students, dieticians or nurses can come. But at the same time, patients are educated.
- This is where we can get a lot of physicians on board.
