Roller Coaster Ride Could Help Pass Kidney Stones
Dr. Wartinger was fascinated by the idea that a roller coaster ride might help pass kidney stones. He says one of his patients rode Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster down in Walt Disney World and immediately passed a stone. "I brought this to the attention of an absolutely brilliant resident who spent about a year working on a model," he said.
