What Is a Tocomac Reactor?

The tocomac is a donis shaped, or teroida shaped device with very strong magnetic fields. What makes it challenging is that is the geometry. Partly it its isatoroid, right? And you have magnetic coils around the tortoroid. So geometrically and topologically, its it presents engineering challenges. That's partly what drives the cost in the complexity of something like a tocomac.
