"Woke is a bad term, that one freaks me out When any sort of actual awareness of what's happening in the world Or in your own neighborhoods or in society The crisis is that we're facing and you want to talk about that Well you're woke and that's a bad thing," he says. "I've been on the Crestone town council for 24 years because I just didn't want anybody telling me what to do And so I don't look forward to any sort of chaos happening, not at all Because I feel like there's just too many crazy people out there But change is really happening."
