The Importance of Performance Marketing in the Western Regions

The US commands nearly half of the total ad spend at 12.2 billion dollars and that Japan is a distant second with nearly two billion dollars in spend. There are a ton of games that do let's say 10 or 20 times better in Japan and South Korea than they do in US. The IAP spend on those games is tremendous right so when we look at the portion of ad spend per country relative to the portion of of IAP revenue it generates like do things match up or does this this country level data tell us that there's an opportunity to play money ball here?
