The Divided Israel
Israel is split down the middle, says David Frum. The religious but more liberal religious Israelis want to keep the current system where there is a degree of civil liberty and minorities are protected. They feel that these are essential safeguards for their secular and liberal way of life. Even though the legislation has been suspended now, this division within Israel and Saudi isn't going away.
