I was one of the eight co-founding team members at Neuralink back in 2016, 2017. I think that was the moment when Moore's law arrived in neuroscience. The kind of things that enable modern artificial intelligence applications didn't exist until the mid to late 20th century. And we are all familiar with the concept of Moore's law, the notion that some scaling property could be applied to the technology. That scaling paradigm is essential.
