The Rise of Hunger in India
The FAO says that the undernourished population in India rose from roughly 200 million in 2018 or so to 224 million in 2020. This again is composed of three sets of numbers, one of which has to do with food availability and the other is food supply. The third thing you would want to then think of is those available calories fairly distributed in the population. And I think that's the one that's hardest to pin down, partly because we haven't had a good survey that looks at consumption at the population level in over 10 years"
