Introduction

Back in january twenty seventeen, we released an episode called pedestals and guillotines. It explored an interesting paradox of human behavior - our love hate relationship with people at the top of the social hierarchy. So much his changed in the world since we worked on that episode. But as a long election season in the united states winds to a close, we found ourselves reflecting on this episode and what it says about the transience of power. We hope you enjoy it.
