Margaret's Death

Margaret left home at seven on the night of October 3 to visit a local news agency. Her daughter had gone out and taken the house keys with her, leaving Margaret locked out. At around 7.45pm, she was sighted hitchhiking on the nearby Hume Highway. She then got herself several kilometres north to a shopping complex in Broadmetos. A woman saw Margaret walking through the car park carrying several shopping bags - but she wasn't seen again. An autopsy concluded that Margaret had been killed elsewhere,. then dumped on the side of Clifford's road in the early hours of the day she was found. The cause of death couldn't be ascertained.
