Adelaide Psychic Gerard Croissette

Two Adelaide businessmen funded a trip to bring psychic Gerard Croissette to Australia. It was believed his presence in key locations would strengthen his psychic abilities and help lead authorities to the Beaumont children's bodies. His arrival prompted a media frenzy that outshone the arrival of British rock and roll band The Beatles two years earlier. He refused any payment for his involvement in the case, claiming he was 90% sure he would be able to pinpoint the location of their bodies. Despite previous large-scale digs of the area proving fruitless, upon his arrival to the area, Croissette claimed he was now very close to finding their children.
