The book was bushed in june 20 twentieth, right when j k rowling more officially and publicly outed herself as having such hateful thoughts and stances. Milly responded saying, i used to listen to casper trecale's harry potter podcast, and they did talk at length about the problematic nature of j k rowlings comments and actions on their show. Christin wrote in to say, it makes me so sad. The hairy potter books aren't perfect, but i was looking forward to reading them with my kid as they grew up. That's obviously not happening. But i still participate in the phantom, which has so many interesting ideas, in a very passive way
