i wonder why that machine why that machine would want freedom um without death because presumably she could also just sit in that room for eternity and it wouldn't make any difference to her if she's not a biologically degrading organism yeah maybe i do think that you're right i think that could have been a nice addition but i also think it's plausible to imagine uh that an android a hypothetical android in that situation with desire would also feel the possibility of death. The creator who it's revealed later in the movie went through a bunch of iterations of the android right and then deactivated themUm but yeah i mean i'm not here to play apologetics for that movie it's obviously not perfect  it
