Eileen Colton teaches Joel Colton's poems. She says she doesn't think of him as an elegy, which is a very peculiar sentiment to say that you don't think of the person. It's not even that the lines are so powerful or abiding that they recur to her. Where does Eileen use the... Sounds like a classroom situation. Why would you use lines in a classroom about poetry? Lines, not poems.
