I'm a city girl myself, but often to the surprise of my friends, I spent quite a lot of time on a farm growing up. Talking to Blair has me remembering spending lots of time with my grandparents on their farm in Wales. My grandfather trained sheep dogs. Some of my favorites were Pat and Bonnie who used to knock around the farmhouse. There was another dog called Max who I was obsessed with when I was age eight. Like Blair, I became accustomed to the chaos and joy that comes with spending many, many days in the company of 10 or 15 hyperactive pups.
