Qito and dave agree that we are losing insects. But they're not quite so sure about this sort of insect apocalypse framing here. It's death by a thousand cuts, it might be two or three or four stressers. Climate change is probably one of those big stressers because it's changing insects habitats. Humans are also destroying more insect habitats through construction and pollution.
Insect populations are shrinking all over the world, and entomologists are buzzing with questions: Why is this happening? How quickly? And, most concerningly, what does it mean for food supplies or even life as we know it?
