I think sometimes the pitfall people get into is they want to genuinely confront their church. They want to speak the word that needs to be spoken, but they also have been formed by social media and things they've read. If your real goal is to bring people along with you, then you'll go to sources that are common ground for you That's way harder actually than standing up in the pulpit and saying a thing that might be risky and might sacrifice something.
