Old HAG Syndrome
There's something about elderly women that scares the absolute shit out of me like creepy clowns whatever and yeah and chainsaw and stabbings and all that but an elderly woman I think it must be from the shining. We see grandmother figures as nurturing and sweet and protective and so when we see them flipped and turned into something demonic or sinister out to get us I think that plays on our subconscious in more ways than we realize. There's a Netflix series hopefully it's still on there called Marianne and there is an old HAG and that move and are in that show rather that I don't think there's a face scarier than that old HAGs face in that show
