The Importance of Spotify's Free Music

Is it fair to say that listeners have become more entitled because Spotify is offering them something for such a small amount of money? In the 2000s, when poetry was much more widespread, many people were paying nothing for music. And again, I think we have to distinguish between those free users and people who are paying that time. If £10 a month isn't enough to provide artists what they might think of as a fair deal, then it probably is too little. But you can't blame - user is only going to pay what the company is charging them.
