The Importance of CGI in Filmmaking

Practical effects if done right are always going to be better than CGI. There's a way to do it and to have it look good. It just takes like eight years and two hundred million dollars to make something that feels real. The scary thing is that we are now fully 30 years out from the true dawning of CGI with T2 and Jurassic Park.
