Checking Your State Pension Record

The government are giving people the chance to check their state pension records. This means checking how many qualifying years of national insurance contributions you have. The deadline for this is now actually the 31st of July, 2023. You can make a voluntary contribution of 15 pounds 85 per week. But if there are gaps in your record, you might just want to consider carefully whether or not you should make that voluntary contribution - it may be worth it.
